§ 1. Establishment of municipality.

The Municipality to be known and designated as the City of Boynton Beach is hereby established, organized and constituted in the County of Palm Beach, State of Florida, and the inhabitants of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, within the boundaries hereinafter described and designated or within such boundaries as may hereinafter be established, is hereby created, organized and established, and shall continue to be a body politic and corporate under the name of the City of Boynton Beach, and as such shall have perpetual succession, may use a common seal, may contract and be contracted with, and may sue and be sued, plead and be impleaded in all the courts of this state and in all matters whatsoever.
