§ 26-173. Legal action against use for appropriate relief.

  • If any person discharges sewage, industrial wastes, or other wastes into the city's wastewater disposal system contrary to the provisions of this chapter, federal or state pretreatment requirements, or any order of the city, the City Attorney may commence an action against the user for appropriate legal relief, in the appropriate court which has jurisdiction; and to the extent permitted by law, shall seek recovery of all city costs and expenses related to those actions against the user by the city.
