§ 2-43. Absentee voting permitted.

Absentee voting shall be permitted in city elections, in accordance with the procedures established by law for absentee voting in state and county elections. Provided, however, that “city clerk” shall be substituted for “supervisor of elections” in said laws and “canvassing board” as used in said laws shall be held to mean the persons authorized to canvass city elections.
